Punk rock couple the Dollyrots are at it again. They are baking a little bun in the oven and are determined to get an album recorded before her due date on November 18th. They have kicked off a PledgeMusic campaign, begun the writing process and will be in the studio with long-time producer John Fields in early September.
This will be the band’s 4rd crowdfunded project and there will be plenty of pledger only exclusives and unique items like tour guitars, video chats, surprise goodie boxes, back stage passes, personal items, cocktails with the band and much more. As always, regardless of what you order, all pledgers will receive the digital download of the live album the moment it’s ready for release and before the general public gets their hands on it.

After the band meets their goal a percentage of proceeds will be donated to Assn. for Frontotemporal Degeneration. Just over a year ago Kelly’s father was diagnosed with a lesser known form of dementia called Frontotemporal Degeneration or FTD. It typically affects people younger than Alzheimers or other forms of dementia do and there is currently no treatment known to stop or slow its progression. Funding for research is essential and the band would like to do what they can to help other families facing this disease in the future.
The duo’s last release Dollyrots Family Vacation: Live in Los Angeles debuted #15 on Billboard’s Heatseekers album chart, garnering them their 2nd chart appearance. While their 2015 release, Barefoot And Pregnant charted with a peak #7 also on Billboard’s Heatseekers. The follow-up to the group’s 2012’s self-titled LP, two albums on Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, and a 2004 debut through Lookout/Panic Button Records.
