Blood and Guts Records have found their niche with Horror Rock music, and their latest release is Dead Men Walking from the Serpenteens. The quartet mixes influences of science fiction and comic book horror and backs it musically with heavy punk rock with a bit of pop thrown in for good measure. Surprisingly catchy, the Sepenteens still come off edgy on the dozen cuts.
With clever titles like “Calling All Monster Kids” and “(Please be my) Zombie Bride,” the Serpenteens music could be the soundtrack to any 1950s horror film or respectively accompany a Stephen King novel.
