(Self-Released)

Lara Hope and the Ark Tones are a New York-based rockabilly band that is the amalgamation of Hope’s previous rockabilly band the Champtones and upright bassist Matt “The Knife” Goldpaugh’s psychobilly act the Arkhams. Hope and Goldpaugh also collaborate in the side band The Gold Hope Duo and perform under the name Lara and the Hope’Alongs at Rocking Horse Ranch family resort.

Lara Hope and the Ark Tones came to fruition in 2012 and released their debut album ‘Luck Maker’ in 2014. Now the band, which also includes Dave Tetreault and Billy Riker, return with their second offering, ‘Love You to Life.’ Coming off the 2017 Metropolitan Music Award for Best Female Rockabilly Artist, and named the Best Up-And-Coming Band by Hudson Valley Magazine, the band has confidence and momentum on their side.

Mixing rock & roll, rhythm & blues, and country with their rockabilly sound, ‘Love You to Life’ is a toe-tapping, hip-swinging good time from the opening notes of lead off track “Fast, Cheap, or Well Done” to the lover’s lament with a twist title track and erotic slow burn of “I’m Yours.”

Hope is an expressive songwriter who isn’t afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve, knock a few drinks back at the bar with the boys, and be the flirtatious vixen. She is as playful as the song “I’m the One” and honest as the song “Luckiest Girl in Town.” You can’t help but to be smitten with Lara Hope and the Ark Tones and root for her heart on ‘Love You to Life.’
