What was the first live concert you ever went to?
Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Sonic Youth opened. It’s was a transformative experience

What is your funniest or worst tour experience?
Playing solo acoustic to a bunch of post Dodgers game Chicago Cubs fans who randomly flooded the lounge prior to my set.

What THREE things are a must have when you go on tour or play a show?
Gratitude, passion, and water.

What was the first record you ever purchased?
“The Eye of the Tiger” 45 by Survivor.

What’s your preferred music format – vinyl, CD, digital, cassette – and why?
It depends on the quality of the source material. Overall I like vinyl best, it sounds and feels great. Cassette after that, I like the way real cassettes sound. We made tapes for each other growing up. Highly customizable.
